This will net you to an overall low of about 20-1 vs 16-1 including TC multiplier less slippage. That can get you a bit quicker off the line, and a steeper grade to start without the heat and slippage etc.

I was going to ask if the 4L60 parts were strong enough, but if they're abused by that crowd, I'm guessing it's strong enough for towing duties.
Parts started swapping out today. Pitman, idler and bracket.

I shouldn't have been surprised to see this, also.

Upgraded to Napa's finest

New parts installed and de-greased; super nasty with grease and PS fluid leak. Turpentine and heavy duty degreaser did the trick.

Waiting on pitman arm seal, then I button it up and take a ride.
