New TV

I replaced my '04 F150 SCrew 4X2 a few weeks ago, got a 2017 F250 supercab long bed Lariat, 6.2 gas with 3.73 axle. The difference is great, pulling my hybrid with this new truck compares to pulling my pup with my 04. Went out for a short trip on the trailer, picked up some snow along the way. Mileage right now is around 14 hwy, 8 pulling (using instant mpg display only pulled for 1/2 tank) compared to 14.5 hwy and 6 pulling with my old truck. (Full tank hand calc) which isn't too bad since I went to a bigger and heavier truck, with a bigger engine and 4wd. I have gotten and installed my step bars since pictures were taken, ordered my Diamondback HD bed cover this morning and have a Line X appt next week.

    seeing this post really gets my Camping blood flowing. Looking forward to get my new truck and towing with it in May.

    Good looking truck, and I've heard nothing but good things about the 6.2 engine.

    I could be wrong, but I do believe that both GM and Ram do offer ext cab versions dubbed "double cab". Instead of suicide doors, they have reg doors like the main ones, just a lot smaller.

    Wow - nice truck! I honestly didn't know you could still get a supercab. I have only seen the crew cabs around here. Is there enough room in the back for one child? Do Chevy or dodge have a similar cab configuration?

    Yeah, my daughter is grown and since we bought our SHO last year we have a sedan to go out in if people go with us. DW and I will take my nieces and nephews (4) camping during the summer once so I had to find the flip down console seat combo for the front (which I prefer anyway) to take them. Super cab will suffice for a once a year trip with them and the extra storage the rest of the time.

    My 13 250 came with a 35 gallon tank, glad it did. Not sure when 250s started with bigger tank.

    Absent the kids I'd have a super cab. Great looking rig. Now you need a bigger trailer.
