This is a true statement if you are comparing to driving around empty with your E load tires aired up to around 80psi.
This is a false statement if you air down to proper pressure for the load (empty truck bed) which is more like 40 psi than 80.
Difference being the 19.5s don't like to be aired down that low.
Don't be fooled that 19.5s ride anything like LT tires on an empty truck.
I haven't experimented with dropping the pressure in my E rated OEM tires yet. I will try that and see what kind of ride I get. Based on some back of the envelope calculations 35psi would be the lowest I should go for highway driving unloaded. I'll probably try 50psi to start then gradually lower it. Thanks for the tips!
