Silverbullet, yeah I’m not advocating anyone else to do it, but before I knew any better and trucks weren’t as big n heavy and way less capable from most standards, I’ve been or seen 1000s of trucks loaded heavy and beat down way worse than putting a camper in the back of a new HD truck.
I worked for an outfit that overloaded their trucks so bad that I had to fix broken frames.
Tires didn’t pop and wheels didn’t break.
If you think about liability, what’s the one place it makes the most financial sense for corporations to over engineer? The things that are the most probable to cause you to crash and sue them if they fail.
