We bought new, because we couldn't really find what we wanted in a used trailer. I've since done a lot more research and I hear that 2 years old is the sweet spot for depreciation and getting "kinks" worked out. That being said, it's probably a toss up between getting that new feel and warranty versus that depreciation. Comes down to personal preference really.
If you've not listened to Living the RV Dream podcast than you may want to try it. John and Katy do a great job with the show and it's all sorts of info for the full timer or wanna be full timer. I don't full time, but I hope to one day, so I enjoy listening. I think somewhere around episode 216 they talk about picking the right RV.
