I camp in my RV (and have dogs), so I want something durable and easy to clean.
Cloth wallpaper while very pretty will soil easily and can't be removed to wash. Spot cleaning is never that effective.
Textured wallpaper again would soil easily and be difficult to clean.
Leather would be expensive; vinyl less so. This might be an option that is between cloth/textured wallpaper and paneling in durability and cleaning.
Paneling is still the most durable and easy to clean.
The other consideration for me is my clumsiness and antipathy towards housework - the combination really requires paneling.
