Sure there was - propane detector, radio memory circuit, etc are just a couple of examples of parasitic load that is always on. If the camper isn't supplied with 120 vac shore power during periods of non use so the converter's charging system can maintain a proper battery charge then you should disconnect the battery to prevent those parasitic loads from draining the battery and eventually killing it. Guessing between the lines of info you have provided one could say you might have a fried converter or an irretrievably dead battery or perhaps even a GFCI issue with the 120 vac source feeding the trailer ... hard to say though from the information you're providing. No offense intended but it sounds like you have a limited understanding of electrical circuits and in particular your trailer's dual voltage electrical system. If that's the case I'd suggest you return the trailer to your dealer to have a tech who is qualified take a look and ascertain just what the issue(s) may be.
