Personal opinion....that's a LOT of trailer to start learning from scratch. But since the deal is done - would have been better to ask these questions first - she's going to try to make the numbers work as safely as possible. **note the children going along on thee trips*** Get the real, honest-to-goodness numbers from a Toyota dealer with supplying the VIN#. Find out exactly what the trailer weighed as delivered - surely there is a plate or sticker somewhere. Since the OP is scared to death, she needs patience and guidance from a friend or relative or better yet, a GS volunteer. If these numbers can't be lined up to be safe, even with the WDH/Sway, then something needs to go. 30' is a lot of space for 3 people....something several feet shorter and that works better with the Sequoia would be my suggestion. Also, those tires need to be checked for the manufacturing date. If anything over the 4 year mark, IMHO they need to be replaced. This sure would have been easier and less stressful for the OP to have come here first. Hope she heeds the advice and gets some help before heading out.
