If you only have a single axle then only use a board under the tire on the low side. If you have 2 or 3 axles try to support all axles about the same on the down hill side.
Example: I have 2 axles. I try to lift both axles (tires) about the same on the low side. I normally try to keep them within an inch of each other. I leave both tires on the uphill side on the ground and chocked to keep the trailer from rolling. I use x-chocks between the axles on each side to keep the tires from rolling.
Hope that clears up the confusion.
It's not rocket science. Level to ensure the fridge works correctly and you are fairly comfortable. Everyone has a different tolerance for being level and tolerating wiggle (shake).
