Level means convincing your brain the floor is level or the frig is 2"-4" out of final level. Cheap bubble levelers on the tongue (front-back) and front cross member (side-side) are invaluable. After adjusting the low side tires or however you get the TT within 6" side to side, you can use the stabilizers on the low side to get the final 2"+ to keep the frig happy. Chock those tires and use the tongue jack for the front to back level, then drop those stabilizers and do something enjoyable. I used the type of chocks that fit between the tires and push the axles apart...never had our big (31' Jayco) TT creep when unhooking. Use a cordless drill and 3/4" socket...that manual stabilizer crank is for letting someone borrow or emergency only! Once you have the setup process mastered and enter the Pro category, you can drop the rear stabilizers close to level and use the tongue jack to raise the TT so the rear stabilizers touch the ground. You must already know what distance to leave the rear stabilizers off the ground so the hitch will clear the ball. All our TT's had scissor stabilizers, so some of this won't apply to other type stabilizers. Forgot to add...I try to achieve a level cooktop.
