Most trucks have a sticker in the glove box that states what your maximum hauling capacity is. This will give you an idea as to how large a camper your truck will handle.
Most truck campers that include a wet bath will weigh close to 2800-3000 lbs when loaded ready to go.
It's never easy, is it? I swear I end up doing everything backwards. Example: Bought the travel trailer and then realized our 4Runner might be too weak to tow it long distances.
Anyway, my GVWR is 7100 lbs. My GAWR front is 4000 lbs and rear is 4150 lbs.
