Newbie: it appears tank hoses don't come with new trailer

Are you going to be a "seasonal" at a campground? Stay at one campground for an extended period? If so, the hose supports are really nice to have.

If you are doing weekend camping at different campsites, I would put that near the bottom of my list of things to get. When we camp for a weekend, I just dump on the morning we leave, I don't stay hooked up all weekend.
