Our $.02. Keep the weight of the Travel Trailer under 6000 lbs for your 1/2 ton truck. Also a Fifth Wheel puts alot more of the weight on the truck then a Travel Trailer does.

The payload rating includes everything, water, propane, dishes, food and even your weight is figured in.

If you are going to be in cold areas, search for Four Season trailers.
