Since you are new to RVs and this is a new adventure for both of you, I would look for a good used TT. You'll get more for your money and there are plenty of well kept RVs available.

Check Craigslist

If after a year you find the RV and travel works then consider something newer, bigger, along with a F250 truck for more capacity and safety.
