Kinda sucks. I dont think i'll find a trailer for 2400lbs anywhere. Will a weight distribution hitch help at all???
My opinion is a 1/2 ton truck can tow a TT of up to 6000 pounds. We have had two different 30' TT weighting less the that. Our truck towed them just fine They are out there. Weight Dist Hitch is necessary.And needs to be set up properly.
Since you will be doing Alaska in the Summer that will say you don't need a 4 season TT. Tho those are very nice.
