Actually, you need to do some more research on boat lifts. I have seen lifts that will pick up the trailer and boat of your size over the truck which would then allow you to haul a travel trailer.
A problem with the TC idea is that you are eating up a lot of you payload capacity with people. You really need to take your truck to get the weight with everyone on board and even the boat in tow and ready for a trip. This will let you decide how much you really can carry.
Personally, I would leave the boat home and just travel with a trailer that has the room. When my kids traveled with us, we had trailer. When they got older and mostly didn't, we started using the TC to the point we sold the FW. Now when they do meet up with us, they stay in a tent.
