Newbie Question on 2016 F150 2.7L SuperCab 3.55 4x4

With the F-150 that includes the Max GVWR - it is a optional higher than standard GVWR. You do not have that package. Normally that is only on the V8 or 3.5L V6 trucks.

So you have a limited GVWR, you can carry 1,500 pounds, but that is it. Also because you have the smaller engine, Ford is limiting you to 5,100 pounds. Other trucks can tow 10,000+, so the hitch is not the limiting factor, but the smaller engine.
