Newbie towing question posting again
So i have towed the TT with the Liberty in 20-30mph winds and down pour rain home and also towed it to go camping this weekend in 20-30mph gust and home on a calm day.The liberty did great imo no sway...

If you were comparing the two, at the same age, with the same amount of miles, it would be obvious that the Cherokee would be the better TV.
In this case with many years of use, and probably many more miles, the Cherokee may not be the best choice. You have to think about an old cooling system, and an engine/ tranny setup, that more than likely has high mileage.
Not knowing either vehicle, I think I'd go with the newer V6, and lower tow rating.
