Newbie towing recommendation

I see so many posts like this, with people just starting. And I did it too, we had a Yukon XL towing a Jayco 26BH, and it was just a struggle. I realize a diesel rig is not for everyone, but it's more than just the facts and figures. I think of brakes and transmissions, and safety. It's one thing to be able to get going, it's another to bring it all to a stop, and to control on descent grade without burning up either brakes or transmissions. I'll never go that close to the limits again, especially after pulling with a diesel.
