For me. While a slide does give more room. IF it blocked normal use of the trailer while in. That would be a deal breaker. not every one camps in great big fields. We have camped in sites with trees so tight the slide couldn't go out. So being able to use the camper with the slide in, is a got to have. Our current TT is made that way. Nothing is blocked with the slide in. So, it is a personal choice, and is based on your camping style. We are fortunate to have the best of both worlds, By choice BTW.
IF you go for the Tt with the slide. Learn how to bring it in with out power. A must if something goes wrong. And you will need to carry a ladder to clean off sticks, and acorn from the top of the sldie before you bring it in to go home.
Other than that. Pick the floorplane you like best. You only have to please your family.
As for your TV. Check your GVWR so that you will know how much weight you can load into the truck AFTER you hookup. Remember the tongue weight is carried by the truck, and so reduces what the truck can carry. Looking at your dry weights. You will more than likely after you load up to camp. Weigh in the 6000lb range. Which means your actual tongue weight will be around 720 lb. You must subtract that 720 from the payload of the TV. Example. IF you have a 1400lb payload. 1400 - 720 = 680. and that is all you would be able to load into the truck. That includes, you, DW, and the kids, and the WDH.
So get what you want, and enjoy
