Just my 2 cents. Our first two trailers didn't have slides mainly due to the weight issue. We were pulling with an older F150 and carried a lot of stuff. We sold those trailers to the first person who came to look at each trailer. Take care of them and price it right and they will sell easily and fast, slide or no slide. Now the retirement chapter of our life is fast approaching and we are looking at trailers with slide outs, we want the added room on longer trips. The advice about making the wife happy is right on. Me and the wife disagree on our new floor plan, we will be getting the one she wants, I don't want to hear about it for the rest of my life. LOL
