Our previous trailer had no slides and our current trailer has two. We like them both. Each has their advantages: no slide for traveling and short duration, slides for extended stay. If I could justify two trailers I would go back to my previous trailer in a heartbeat.
Keep in mind that many people pay extremely high premiums for their trailers with no slides such as Airstream, BigFoot, Escape, Oliver, Scamp and Casita. I can pretty much guarantee that these owners have absolutely no problems selling their used "slideless" trailers.
