Newbie travel trailer buyer question - to slide out or not

Well eleven pages of opinions the OP should know the pros and cons and be able to invent their own reason for having or not having a slide.

Personally, I like them. They can leak, they are heavy, they are another source of problems, they can block access to other TT features. Yup, this is all true and yes mine has given me a fit or two but I would not have a TT without one.

If you worry about such stuff don't by one. Simple enough.
