I perform preventative maintenance which runs about $50 per year (mostly wash & Wax, sealant and bearing lube every other year)
There seems to be a cycle to RV repairs. If new you will have some problems right off the bat that were mistakes during manufacturing. Then you'll have up to 10 years of no problems other than tire and battery replacement and Brakes (Tires $400 plus and batteries $60 to $100 or more .... Brakes up to $400 for 2 axles)
At 10 years of age things start to breakdown...refrigerator (up to $1200) Air Conditioner ($800) Springs $800...etc. One of these will occur every couple of years
Or you can have another 10 years trouble free.
It really depends on luck and good maintenance
