My WD hitch is adjusted so that the TV bumper is the same height, give or take a 1/2", after the TT is connected. Also the TT sits about 1/2 to 1 inch nose down measure at the front and the back.
The distance from the front wheel well to ground is with 3/4 of an inch higher after adjusting the WD hitch.
That is what manual says it should be, so that is how I adjust it, and that is pretty darn level.
Actually the WD hitch can be adjusted to remove all the weight from the back wheels as Reece once demonstrated in a promo add.
The WD is supposed to make it the TV and TT sit level, nothing mystical here.
If all of the weight were removed from the back wheels as in Reese's demonstration, it went onto the front wheels and the trailer.
My point was you cannot (and should not) restore your "TV to its original height". If it's carrying any of the weight on either end, it can't be at its original height.
Making the TV level (but a lower than it was) makes sense.
