Newby needs advice

Hello, I had a recent change in life's circumstances that have made me decide to live in a travel trailer full time. My wife and I retired from the Navy and the budget works to live out one of our dreams. I traded my 662HP Shelby GT500 and my wife's Tacoma to buy a Ram 1500 Ecodiesel with 7600lb towing. I am staying in a friend's RV in August and I just booked a hotel in Hershey PA for the biggest RV show in the universe. I've arranged storage for all our furniture. Now, tell me what I need to know about the next step? Any advice is welcome as long as you aren't mean.

  • Except for a very small trailer your first mistake is choice of trucks. The ecodiesel 1500 is a nice truck, but towing capacity is under powered. Your going to be really disappointed with the size of any trailer that you can safely tow.
Two people living in a small trailer? This scenario does not make for a happy family situation.
