I carry my Northern Lite with my 2017 F350 with the 6.2 gas engine. I also tow my ATV trailer and ATV, coolers, gas etc. behind it. It handles everything just fine and I have never felt I needed a diesel for my needs.
I am not against diesels at all and used to have a 7.3 back in the day, just don't need one now and I really do like the lower operating costs of the 6.2.
