OK, here goes. We owned our 2006 F-350 DRW 4x4 6.0 PSD 6-SPD SC for 12 years and it never went to the shop; not a single time. So I would have to say that truck was perfect.
I cannot say that about the two 7.3's we owned before that because they both got the tow hook a couple of times.
Who would have thunk it?

Thanks for helping to make my point. Did you go out there and start a thread crowing about your trouble-free 6.0? I'm going to go out on a very short, very stout limb here and say no, you didn't.
However, you can go into the archives on most any site that discusses Ford trucks and find plenty of threads started by people having problems with their 6.0's. If you go by the threads, you'd think that ALL 6.0's are junk.
(I'm sure someone will quote this and say, "They are." Don't disappoint me fellas.)
