Some people are really hard on engines. One of my brothers had a remarkable destruction history. I can’t say I’d judge an engine based on how it performed for him.
Funny that Navistar 6.0s are still getting slammed on a “newer” engine thread when they haven’t been in a Ford in over 10 years. Reality is most people don’t need diesels, and they don’t respond well to those drivers who are using them for purposes they weren’t designed for. Is that the diesels fault? I don’t think so.
Similar to loading every compartment of your TC including slides with as much weight as you can and wonder why it doesn’t hold together.
