I saw another newer Ram with a (never break) Cummins dead at a Rest Area today. It apparently didn't like the life it was living pulling a big fiver. The point isn't to slam Cummins, but they all break.
It's important to like them when they are working. My last two trucks have had the awful Ford 6.0 and 6.4 and both have been great trucks although the DPF sensors and DPF on the 6.4 have been problematic. Too bad that truck engine manufacturers can't build an DPF free engine like Mahindra with no DPF. https://mahindrausa.com/mcrd Sounds like someone needs to convert a Kubota to a Mahindra engine ... kind of like the Cummins in the Ford joke. :D
