Having owned from new a 2004, 5.9 Cummins, a 2007.5, 6.7 Cummins and now a 2016, 6.7 Cummins, so far (now at 27k mi) the latest has been impressive...However, though reliablity is improved, newer diesels still have lots of highly expensive emissions components... My latest plan is to keep the truck only until the warranty nears its end - thus the notion of the 100k mi diesel - thanks to the EPA...
