This is where YMMV, really applies. My Chevy unloaded, flat road, city/highway driving will go around 5,000 miles before the DEF low verbiage shows. Loaded up with our Camper, towing our Jeep up hills, I’ve seen the refill warning come on as soon as 1,500 miles. I carry a 2.5 gal box just in case we’re out in the boonies when it’s time to replenish.
