I tow the same GVWR as you. Go for the 3.5 EB if you get one. It tows that weight as easy as you could expect. It's a great match.
Colo Native, I keep hearing folks speak of the F250 diesels being priced similar to the 150 EB...I didn't see that when I shopped? I paid $32k out the door for mine. Are yawl getting the 250 diesel, CC, 4x4 close to that price?
Maybe half tons cost a little more now than they did in 2013? What I found on the F150s when I looked is I couldn't get a max tow/hd payload equipped model for less than $35-36k at best. XLT trim level so nothing fancy. I wanted 4wd with the longer wheelbase. This was for a 2014 model cause I kind of dropped the idea of wanting a half ton after researching them some, and the dealer was discounting them pretty good at the time cause they were the old model.
I bought the truck in my sig for $39k optioned about the same as an XLT F150, and there are actually a little better rebates available now than when I bought so I think I could hit close to $38k for the same truck. For that price difference it just seemed like a no brainer to step up to the Cummins.
