I am really glad that 1, 4, and 9 are going away. Especially nine because it gives diesels a bad rap and makes people that don't know any better believe that all diesels(even deleted ones) emit black...

I would love to add one thing to the list (as a non-owner of diesels):
The STUPID idea that it's better to idle a diesel engine than shut it off and re-start.
I'm not talking about semi drivers who have legit reason to run refrigeration systems, etc. I'm talking about bubbas in Sonic (and many other places) who insist on idling the entire time they are there (even when no AC is needed), thus inundating the rest of us with their stinking exhaust and the sounds of an ancient tractor engine.
Of course we are supposed to be IMPRESSED by that.
