Its sad to see so many believe weight is everything. As if one could tow 9000lbs of flatbed trailer and 4,000lbs of TT and believe one is more safe and easier to tow. Hint...the 9100lb flat bed will win every time.
In this case, length and set up is by far more critical than overall weight. While weight ratings need to be watched, its not a primary factor here. Towing a 20' vs a 30' with this SUV is a night and day difference on the interstate. 27-30' could become a handful with crosswinds, and 6k or 8klbs isn't going to make matters better.
Weight is NOT everything.
