Agree with APT; the Armada is a definite downgrade from a modern Durango.
Nothing wrong with the Armada / Titan itself, it's just that 11 years in the industry is a LONG time without a redesign. It's 2 generations behind.
A 2014 Durango is a nice upgrade. The 8 spd ZF is a significant upgrade. In addition, the cooling, suspension, and interior is also much improved. The payload is 1350 in AWD, and 1450 in RWD. Toss the spare in the trailer, and you'll free up another 50 - 70 lbs...
A neat feature I like about the Durango, it's one of the few SUVs with 4Lo AWD. The only other one I can think of, where you can use 4Lo on dry ground, is the Range Rover.
