Nissan Cummins matchup

Yes I know they had looked at it and gave it a pass, why Fiat owns us and builds diesels. Why would you pay someone to build something you already build yourself.
I have been saying this for a while now, Chrysler feels, right or wrong that buyers of 1/2 ton trucks are for the most part not going to tow big trailers with them. The want a truck that gets good fuel economy, can pick up things from Lowe's or Home Depot a few times a year and looks good.
Ram again right or wrong delegates heavy RV towing to the HD line up, 2500 and up. With the new air suspension system we have addressed the ride issues with the 2500 and 3500 trucks. So they decided to put the little 3.0 VM as some have called it, into the 1500 and are hoping that a pickup making 30+ MPG will fly off the lots. I bet they are right!
