I cant speak for today's Dodges because I have not ridden in let alone driven one. However- there is no question the early generation of Dodge trucks with the 5.9 Cummins were only purchased for one reason- the motor.
In a few years it is conceivable that a powerful argument could be made that Cummins (one component) saved Dodge and Nissan trucks. Then again- Why anyone would buy a Dodge or a Nissan (without a Cummins) will always be a mystery to me.
