Nissan Titan XD Cummins Diesel Fuel Mileage
Looks like the Titan/cummins/aisin setup falls short on the fuel economy both unloaded and loaded. Not sure if this run included a regen, but I'm really surprised how poor the unloaded fuel economy is...

Yes, it's a disappointment.
Low payload (too heavy) and un-exceptional mileage.
But the mileage numbers for HD trucks are pretty much all anecdotal.

These are sort-of steady-state cruising mpg's at highway speeds.
But it was a lot colder when he did the TitanXD so that has to be factored in somehow.
He also has an interesting discussion as to why he thinks the mileage is so poor. And in a later post compares US pricing with other trucks.
