Looks like the Titan/cummins/aisin setup falls short on the fuel economy both unloaded and loaded. Not sure if this run included a regen, but I'm really surprised how poor the unloaded fuel economy is...

I would pass on this truck personally, I just have no like for that truck. I think it's great that the diesel market is increasing into the 1/2 ton and mid sized trucks. I would expect more out of all the hype on this truck. Maybe the model that hits the streets will be better. I like the idea the GM is putting the 2.8 duramax in the mid sized trucks. That should be a winner. I hope to see Toyota and Ford jump in on the 1/2 ton diesels. Time will tell, they just need a good payload and it should fit the bill for a decent percentage of weekend warriors.
