Nitto Blowout

I was getting onto US19 in Clearwater one day when I heard a loud hiss from the right rear. I stopped right away and found a &%^ $@($ door hinge pin at the edge of the tread of my just barely over 100k mile Michelins. I couldn't believe it penetrated but there it was. I thought it was a bolt or spike until I pulled it out. If I'd been shaggin' *@@ down the highway, it could have been ugly.
Good luck with the Firestones. I have a set on my F250, white letters out. So far so good. They sing a bit for a highway tread but they're supposed to be tough.
