No dinnet

Hello,
I was wondering if there are any truck campers with no dinnet. I would rather have a couch or two chairs.
Thanks
Jim
  • My solution for my nag free zone single usage TC was place it into the sleeper permanently. Now I have room to put all the things I never use under the bed. Bought a small round table top and moved the unused dinnette to the center of the TC. Now I have removable table for those romantic dinners for one and a bed for flopping whenever and room for my life size teddy bear.
  • Don't know why more companies do not offer a couch/fold up table option in place of a dinnette
  • I've thought about taking mine out and putting in recliners but just don't want to loose the storage......maybe there's a way to do it and keep the storage?
  • I have a 2006 Lance 1191 that had a dinette in the slide. we remove the dinette and put in two lazyboys. It was really easy since there was nothing behind the dinette.
  • I removed the built in dinette to free up floor space. We only have an 8' popup so we don't have a lot of space. I also removed all the cushions and covered the areas with carpeting to give us more multipurpose space. This gives us space for two fairly compact lawn chairs that are much more comfortable than the built in benches. I mounted the sockets that previously held the table to a board and shorten the tubes and now have a table that sits on the now carpet covered area where cushions use to reside, this tears down and fits in the under the bed storage when traveling. We use thin foam cushions on either end of the table if we want to eat at the table.

I believe all the Arctic Fox campers can be ordered with a roll over sofa instead of a dinette.

The Wolf Creek 840 and Arctic Fox 811 have smaller dinettes and do not offer this option. The rest of the models offer the roll over sofa option.

  • We asked that our Eagle Cap 1165 be built without a dinette. We have a table and two chairs instead. When we were at the dealer we found that the Factory dinette was not comfortable for us. The inability to make it into a sleeping space was not a big deal for us, we didn't buy it for slumber parties.

  • Yes, and some people have converted their dinettes to love seats.
  • Not sure how large of a camper you are wanting but, Host and Eagle Cap both offer all couch or recliners instead of dinettes.
