No fuel cap?

The reason they are going capless is to try and stop the dreaded "Fuel Cap Not Tight" warning and or the CEL code P-0440-0449?. These codes are "EVAP system malfunction" and only show up on gas powered vehicles. The issue with the capless system is when the fuel door gasket becomes worn or damaged it will cost more to replace it then it would to replace a fuel cap.
Diesel do not throw this code as they do not have a EVAC system and the reason IMO Ram Trucks did not put a latch on the fuel door. Still not a good idea IMO (not having a latch).
