I had just filled both bottles on Thursday and never turn the second one on.opps. Did get the heater working, thanks to one of the suggestion given in this thread. Must admit I haven't hit anything on its side since tubes radios and TV days. Hit the heater unit with my hand about four time and it just started working.

Going to keep a list of all suggestions given in this thread just in case my hand get tired of hitting the heater.

I've run into this issue.

I think he said it ran for 3.5 hours after bottle #1 went empty. I'm wondering if bottle #2 wasn't really full and he's now out of propane in both bottles. Only way to know for sure is to weigh them.

Could be a regulator problem if you have an auto change over regulator. Might want to physically swap the bottles out so you are using the side of the regulator and the hose that worked before bottle #1 went dry.

Also could be a sail switch as someone else suggested. Igniter won't fire until the sail switch has closed for a preset amount of time.

Some one may have sold you butane/propane mix instead of 100% propane. That raises the boiling temperature of the mix so there is not enough pressure in the lines to keep the furnace running.

As soon as the fan starts blowing, using a small hammer moderately tap the control valve . They sometimes stick .

Also, i'm assuming the TT is level.
I had an RV furnace that would not light if I was parked nose down. As soon as soon as I leveled it, it fired up .
I never heard of that happening before and my rv mechanic looked at me like I had two heads when I told him my fix. But it happened all the time I was parked nose down, furnace wouldn't light while all other gas appliances worked fine.

Running plug into A/C so power seems ok, when checked with a volt meter. Will start running down that check list.
