No more GM diesels?!
GM goes 100% electric And Ford has made similar announcements. Is this the end of pickups? I haven't seen a glimmer of a electric p/u with 500 mile range and 3500 pound carry capacity have you?

I wouldn’t worry about GM ramping up EV production anytime soon. They had plans to get EV production to 2500 per month this year. Or roughly 2 days of Tesla production. They didn’ make it. :).
I speculate the dealers salespersons direct people away from electric as it takes too long to educate the customer. Much quicker to close a deal on a petrol vehicle and move to the next customer. Sales people probably do not really understand EVs unless they own one.
