Heat is a killer for ST tires. Sounds like you don't run over the tire's speed rating but what inflation do you use and what is the weight of the TT compared to the tire's load capacity rating? Towing under-inflated, overloaded and/or over speed rating damages ST tires and damage is cumulative. UV rays aren't good either and covers could help.
Always inflate the tires to max. sidewall psi (cold) and check regularly. Go to a scale and see how much reserve load capacity you have. You want at least 15% and the more you can get, the better. Perhaps you would benefit from using one load range higher.
