I think it looks just as good or better than a camper strapped on the back of any other truck, pickup or whatever.
Go read the article, link to it is in earlier post. You’re out of line, bordering on ignorant calling it a “hack job”, it’s a very nicely built rig.
That truck can go 20,000 pounds on its rear axle, with those tires, in the U.S. He’s in Canada where it’s legal to go even more. The truck and those tires are easily capable of it safely. He has NO gvw issues.
Why the sleeper? It makes the truck cab a lot roomier. You can seat more than two people, you have room for stuff, and it’s an extra bed if needed or wanted.
