One of the things in life you can absolutely count on. If it's not secured, it'll be somewhere else when you get stopped. Many times the few odds and ends of little things get tossed into the sinks to we'll know where to find them. Cabinets/drawers??? Your best friend is a container of small bungees from Harbor Freight. They are maybe 1/4 thickness or so, and various lengths. A quickie to wrap around the cabinet door pulls and drawers and whatever else you think might vibrate open. The only place we ALWAYS used them is coming through Birmingham going south toward FL.....what we consider THE bumpiest section of road in the south.....why don't they FIX THAT???? Laptops get stored in their cases on the floor under the dinette - not on the seat. When in doubt, stick it in the shower....and don't forget to drop the shower head because it will vibrate loose, too. We usually have a laundry basket in the shower, so the shower head just rests in there alongside all the junk we didn't know where to toss at the last minute. Most of this "wisdom" came from lessons learned the hard way, although no damage.
