We bought a 2017 Northern Lite 10-2 in March this year to replace an '08 10-2 Snow River. The truck is a Ram 5500 4x4 with an Alum Line flat bed. The Snow River's center of gravity (CG) was 10" in front of the rear axel. I actually had to look in the mirrors to tell if the camper was on the truck. The Northern Lite CG is dead center above the rear axel. With the suspension of the 5500 it still handles better than any of the 6 different rigs we've owned over the last 40+ years. I've even removed the 2 1/2 round bumpers and now use a rubber mat to act as a bumper. While it's not a real issue, I still long for the "I've really got the camper on" feeling I once had!!
