Thanks Fitzbev. I seem to remember seeing something like you describe when I researched NL a couple of years ago. Their fire halted production and my interest thinking they were out of business for good. I'm happy they made it back.

Following your suggestion, I just finished going back over the NL website and was unable to find any sort of construction details.

I believe if you checkout the NL website there is a photo (brochure link, item 5) of how the jacks are secured to the floor. I believe it's 3/4 inch ply with a steel backing plate. I have read some complaints about the boat rack and the screws backing out. I suspect that issue has been resolved.

High quality but somewhat pricey....
